Adelaide S. Flanders

Laconia-----Adelaide S. Flanders, 95, of 30 County Drive and formerly of 25 Union Avenue, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Saturday, September 19, 2009. She was the widow of Lawrence Flanders who died in 1977.

Mrs. Flanders was born October 22, 1913 in Laconia, the daughter of Charles and Rose (Collette) Hart. She was a lifetime resident of Laconia and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She had been employed at Allen-Rogers.

Mrs. Flanders enjoyed golf, bingo and reading.

Survivors include several nephews, nieces and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N.H.

Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home Activities Fund, 30 County Drive, Laconia, N.H. 03246.
