Laconia---Richard O. Paquette, 63, of 25 Union Avenue, died at Concord Hospital on Sunday, September 13, 2009.

Richard was born July 30, 1946 in Laconia, N.H., the son of Omer “Pete” H. and Charlotte (Currier) Paquette.

Richard was raised in Laconia and was a graduate of Laconia High School. He served in the U. S. Air Force and had been employed as a L.P.N. at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Richard was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. He enjoyed traveling and making friends.
Survivors include two brothers, Philip P. Paquette and his wife, Michele, of Loudon and Joseph H. Paquette and his wife, Melissa, of Marietta, Georgia; two nephews, Joel Paquette and Derek Dickerson; five nieces, Jennifer Sulllivan, Amanda Masse, Abigale Chelsey, Jenna Paquette and Megan Paquette; several grandnephews and grandnieces and great grandnieces and uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N. H.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N.H. 03246.
