Rusty was a member of the New Hampshire and Lakes Region Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of the D.A.R., Mary Butler Chapter, and the Daughters of Founders & Patriots of America, enjoying the company and friendship of her fellow members.

After her retirement, Rusty particularly enjoyed the many summers spent in Pittsburg, NH with her family and friends going to yard sales, exploring the back roads and the nightly gatherings around the campfire. She enjoyed her many trips throughout New England visiting with relatives and researching both her and Phil’s genealogy. Her greatest joy was time spent with her granddaughter, Melanie, and the many craft projects, gardening and trips they took.
