Andrew Chad Whitten

Laconia-----Andrew Chad Whitten, infant son of Chad and Shannon (Chagnon)Whitten of 186 Union Avenue, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Wednesday, September 11, 2002.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin sister, Kaytlyn S. Whitten and three brothers, Devin J. Whitten, Brandon A. Whitten and Tyler A. Whitten all of Laconia; his paternal grandparents, Donald and Norma (Cheney) Whitten of Laconia; his maternal grandparents Leo and Alberta (Slocum) Chagnon of Boscawen; his paternal great grandfather, Norman Cheney; his maternal great, great grandmother, Alice Downing of Meredith; his paternal aunts and uncles, Angela and Brian Stimpson of Franklin; Melanie Whitten of Laconia and Christopher Whitten of Weirs Beach; and his maternal aunts and uncles, Heidi and Mike Sweeney of Concord; Leo Chagnon II of Boscawen and Amanda and Jayson Guyotte of Concord; many cousins and great aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his paternal great grandmother, Flora Cheney; maternal great grandparents Frank and Muriel Prescott; maternal great grandfather, Everett Slocum; paternal great grandparents, Adele and Linwood Whitten and maternal great grandmother, Alda Chagnon.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2002, 2002 at Noon at the family lot in Maplewood Cemetery, Salisbury, NH. Major David Dickson of The Salvation Army will officiate.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
