Gertrude E. Weeks

Gilford-----Mrs. Gertrude E. Weeks, 90, formerly of 371 Hoyt Road, died at the St. Francis Home, Laconia on Sunday, September 8, 2002. She was the widow of L. Murray Weeks who died in 1990.

Mrs. Weeks was born December 4, 1911 in Laconia, the daughter of O. Robert and Flossie (Woodward) Flack. She lived in Laconia for several years before moving to Gilford in 1931. She was a member of the Gilford Community Church.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin E. and Madeleine Weeks of Gilford and John M. and Eileen R. Weeks of Clearwater, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great, great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by sister, Florence "Hazel" Granger and by a grandson, Edward W. Weeks.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at 3:00PM at the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH. Rev. Michael C. Graham, Pastor of the Gilford Community Church, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis Home Activities Fund, 406 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03426 or to the Gilford Community Church Building Fund, 19 Potter Hill Road, Gilford, NH 03249.
