William "Duke" E. Dickinson, III

Gilford-------William "Duke" E. Dickinson, III, 65, formerly of Curtis Road, died at the St. Francis Home, Laconia on Thursday, September 19, 2002.

Mr. Dickinson was born June 12, 1937 in Greenfield, MA, the son of Jean (Cross) and William E. Dickinson, Jr. He lived in Greenfield, MA until 1967. At that time, he moved to Gilford, NH where he lived until he became a resident of the St. Francis Home in 2000.

Mr. Dickinson was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Laconia.

Survivors include a brother, John C. Dickinson, of Laconia, NH and a sister, Judith Dickinson Taylor, of Sturbridge, MA and five nieces.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held at the St. James Episcopal Church, 876 North Main Street, Laconia, NH on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jonathan MacKenzie, Rector of the Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in the family lot in Green River Cemetery, Greenfield, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. James Episcopal Church Scholarship Foundation, 876 N. Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246
