Belmont-----Ruth K. Richardson, 93, of 13 Glenridge Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Mrs. Richardson was the widow of Samuel J. Richardson who died in 1993.

Mrs. Richardson was born December 14, 1914 in North Concord, Vt., the daughter of John and Ellen (Newgent) McBeigh. Mrs. Richardson had been a resident of Belmont for over sixty years.

Mrs. Richardson enjoyed gardening, but most of all she loved taking care of her family.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by five grandchildren, Nancy Snow and her husband, Matthew, Noel Boyd and Robert Moody all of Belmont, Bryan Boyd and his wife, Eileen, of Rochester and Samuel Boyd and his wife, Melinda, of Weirs Beach; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson and one niece, Juanita Wright, of Manchester. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Richardson was predeceased by a daughter, Ellen Jane Richardson.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11:00AM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, in Laconia, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N.H. 03246 or to a charity of one’s own choice.
