John E. Dansereau

Laconia----John E. Dansereau, 66 of 38 Estate Circle, Laconia, died of natural causes at his home on September 28, 2008 after a period of failing health.

John was born September 19, 1942 in Laconia the son of Roland A. and Marion (O’Rourke) Dansereau. He graduated from Laconia High School in 1960 and from Notre Dame in 1964.

John had served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was an insurance underwriter for a number of insurance companies including Prudential. He had lived in Salem, NH for many years moving to Laconia in 2007.

Survivors include 3 sons  Matthew J. Dansereau of Marlboro, Mass., Michael J. Dansereau of North Kingstown, R.I., and Steven K. Dansereau of Allenhurst, N.J.; a step-daughter Erin Methot of Hooksett; a step-grandson Aidan Methot; a brother James F. Dansereau of Burke, Virg.; a sister Margaret Craver of Laconia, several nephews and nieces.

There are no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 7, 2008 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Church 30 Church Street Laconia. The Rev. Gary Kosmowski pastor of the church will celebrate the Mass.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Veterans Home 139 Winter Street, Tilton NH 03276.
