Laconia-----Gale P. Perley, 67, of 70 Cottonwood Ave, died on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH.

Gale was born September 18, 1941 in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Sherwood and Nona (Keller) Kaiser.

Gale graduated from Stroudsburg, PA. High School in 1960. Gale was a bank teller in Stroudsburg, PA. Moving to Laconia in 1962 she and her husband Richard owned and operated the Laconia Dairy Queen and Jan and Her Friends Clothing Store in Laconia.

Gale is survived her husband Richard L. Perley of Laconia; a son, Craig Richard Perley of Laconia; two daughters, Marcia Ann Gagnon of Meredith and Michelle Lynn Brown of Williamsburg, VA.; four grandchildren, Nicole Gagnon, Christopher Gagnon, Tyler Brown and Paxton Perley.

According to Gale’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in Laconia.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Charity of one’s choice.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. is in charge of the arrangements.
