Daisy A. Whitcher

Belmont-----Daisy A. Whitcher, 70, of 25 Church Hill died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, November 30, 2009. She was surrounded by her family and friends.
Daisy was born July 5, 1939 in Laconia the daughter of Sumner I. and Elise May (Touisant) Weeks. She had been a life long resident of Belmont.
Daisy had been employed as a C.N.A. for the Laconia Hospital. Daisy enjoyed knitting, gardening, bird watching and cooking.
Daisy is survived by a son, Dennis Whitcher and his wife, Torrie, of Gilford; a daughter, Tracy Anderson and her husband, Dwight, of New Durham; three grandchildren, Bristol Whitcher, Avery Anderson, and Ben Anderson; a brother Sumner Weeks, of Northfield; a sister Pamela Click, of Belmont; five nephews, Elwin Weeks, Nicholas Weeks, Warren Billings, Richard Click and Marcus Weeks; four nieces, Kim Billings, Denise Morrissette, Bonnie Weeks and Elise Weeks. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two brothers, Peter Weeks and Herbert Weeks and by a sister, Norma Billings.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday December 4, 2009 at 10:00AM at South Road Cemetery, Belmont, NH.
