Rev. Sandra "Sandi" L. Rehe

Gilford, N.H.----Rev. Sandra “Sandi” L. Rehe went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday afternoon, November 4, 2009. Sandi died peacefully at home after a difficult battle with cancer.
Sandi was the widow of Warren A. Rehe who died in 2008.

Sandi was born May 26, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of William and Clara (Roush) Harris. She resided in Andover, Mass. for several years before moving to Gilford in February 8, 2009. She was the pastor of the Weirs United Methodist Church.

Sandi felt her calling to serve God later in life and obtained her Masters of Divinity from
the Boston University School of Theology and was ordained a minister in the United Methodist Church. She touched the lives of countless people in her twenty-one years of ministry. She lived her life in such a way as to teach by example and let the love of the Lord shine through her. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include a son, David M. Rehe, of Haverhill, Mass. and a daughter, Kathleen S. Rehe, of Phoenix, Arizona; one niece and one nephew. In addition to her husband and her parents, Sandi was predeceased by a daughter, Dana L. Rehe, in 1991 and by her brother, James Harris.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2009 from 3:30-5:00PM at the First United Methodist Church, 500 Gilford Avenue (Rte 11A) Gilford, N.H.

The celebration of her “homegoing service” will follow the calling hours at 5:00PM also at the church. A “homegoing service” in Massachusetts will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Ballardvale United Church, 23 Clark Road, Andover, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Weirs United Methodist Church, PO Box 5268, Laconia, N.H. 03247.
