Esperanza "Pi" Marin

Laconia-Esperanza “Pi” Marin, 84, of 158 Sarah Circle died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 13, 2009 after a period of declining health. She was the widow of Felipe Marin.

Esperanza was born on August 1, 1925 in Nicaragua, the daughter of the late Horacio and Corina (Sevilla) Dominguez.

Esperanza had resided in California, Florida and New Jersey for many years before moving to Laconia in 2004. Esperanza was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.

Esperanza is survived by one son, Roger Marin of Burlingame, California; three daughters, Gladys Viquez and her husband Rey of Miami, Florida, Esperanza Trigueros and her husband Richard LaSpada of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, and Graciela Marin and her husband Charles F. Cook of Laconia; one brother, Horacio Dominguez and his wife Dina of Atlanta, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Jackie, Rey III, Vanessa, Roger Antonio, Xenia, Manuel Salvador, and Hazel Lee. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, November 16, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia.
