Priscilla F. Mazzaschi

Laconia---Mrs. Priscilla F. Mazzaschi, 81, of 114 Blueberry Lane # 9 died at the Lakes Region General Hospital Sunday November 30, 2003. She was the widow of Albert J. Mazzaschi who died in 2000 after nearly 60 years of devoted marriage.

Mrs. Mazzaschi was born June 13, 1922 in Laconia, the daughter of Marshall D. and Myrtle L. (Haley) Whedon Sr. She was a life long resident of Laconia. She graduated from Laconia High School Class of 1940.

Mrs. Mazzaschi was employed as a teller at the Laconia Savings Bank for many years. She was a proud mother of her 7 children and enjoyed knitting for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also would knit for many charities in the Lakes Region.

Mrs. Mazzaschi was a life long democrat and was proud of it and had a great sense of humor.

Survivors include 3 sons Steven J. and his wife Sandy Mazzaschi of Laconia, Anthony J. Mazzaschi and his wife Harlie Sponaugle of Arlington, VA. and Michael A. and his wife Martha Mazzaschi of Effingham, NH; 4 daughters Joanne Kayser of Merrimack, Janice and her husband Walter Wike of Lancaster, N.Y., Ann and her husband Phil Grandmaison of Nashua and Candace Bold of Hooksett; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother Marshall D. Whedon, Jr. of Laconia; 2 sisters Patricia Batchelder of Whiting, N.J. and Deanna Joyce of Hudson; many nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday December 2, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM using the Carriage House entrance of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 3, 2003 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation, LHS Class of 1940, PO Box 7312 Gilford, NH 03247-7312.
