Donald C. Blanchard

Laconia-----Donald C. Blanchard, 70, of 7 Church Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Wednesday, May 23, 2007.

Mr. Blanchard was born June 24, 1936, the son of Albert T. and Viola (McCreadie) Blanchard.

Mr. Blanchard graduated from Laconia High School in 1955 and served in the U. S. Air Force.  He was a long time resident of the Lakes Region and was employed at Pike Industries for twenty-five years.  He also worked for G.M.I. Asphalt Corp. and Gerry Breton Construction.

Survivors include a son, Rory Blanchard, of Laconia; two grandchildren, Dillon Blanchard and Drew Blanchard, both of Laconia and a nephew and a niece, Eric Blanchard and Robin Blanchard, both of Keene, NH.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Blanchard was predeceased by three brothers, James A. Blanchard, Harvey G. Blanchard and Raymond Blanchard.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

According to Mr. Blanchard’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110.
