Fremont, NH-----Dorothy “Dottie” L. Carr, 71, of 5 Pollinger Road, died in Laconia, NH at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 24, 2006.
She was born December 12, 1934 in Lowell, MA, the daughter of William and Alice (Ewell) Teague. She lived most of her life in Lowell, MA before moving to Fremont, NH twelve years ago. Mrs. Carr was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Pelham, NH. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed dancing and shopping.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Deborah Carr of Fremont, NH and Gary and Mary Carr of Windham, NH; four daughters and sons-in-laws, Laurel and Stephen Himes of New Castle, Indiana, Sharon and Dick Duquette of Dracut, MA, Deborah and Pete Pollinger of Fremont, NH and Kimberly and Dave Beauregard of Laconia, NH; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents and by a son, Glenn”Benny”Carr in 1998.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 12:00Noon at St. Patrick’s Church, 30 Main Street, Pelham, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
