Laconia-----Mrs. Madelyn L. Gagne, 72, of 57 North Street, Lakeport died at her home on Monday, May 19, 2003 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Gagne was born January 26, 1931 in Milford, NH the daughter of Robert and Ethel Cummings.
Mrs. Gagne was employed at the Laconia State School for many years, retiring in 1989. She loved all animals, vacations to the ocean and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Edward P. Gagne, of Lakeport; four sons, Scott Lavoie, James Lavoie and Edward Lavoie all of Laconia and, Dale Lavoie of Northfield; two daughters, Jodi Blanchard and her husband, Dick of Laconia and Jessica Lockwood and her husband, K.G. of Northfield, a step son James Gagne of Laconia and a step-daughter, Linda DeCato, of Florida; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Mardy Bourque of Belmont; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Roger Cummings and by a sister, Dorothy Cummings.
There will be no calling hours.
Private Family Services will be held at Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
