Helene B. Stacy

Laconia——-Mrs. Helene (Helen) B. Stacy, 80, of 233 Holman Street, died at her home on Thursday, May 30, 2002.

Mrs. Stacy was born June 14, 1921 in Dover, NH, the daughter of Isabore and Marie-Louise (Croteau) Bosse. She lived in Bethlehem, NH for a number of years before moving to Laconia 33 years ago. She was the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Laconia from 1971 until she retired in 1983.

Mrs. Stacy was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia. She was a Lady Commander with Star of The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of American in Littleton.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Stacy of Laconia; a son, Robert N. Stacy of Leominster, MA; a daughter, Evelyn Stacy of Laconia; 4 grandchildren, Ian Stacy and Leah Stacy both of Leominster, MA and Kathryn Spencer and Nathan Spencer both of Laconia, NH; three brothers, Leo Bosse and Raymond Bosse both of Dover, NH and Normand Bosse of Windsor, CT; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Laurent Bosse and Henri Bosse.

Calling hours will be held on Friday May 31, 2002 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday June 1, 2002 at 10:30AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH
