Armand U. Normandin

Gilmanton——-Armand U. Normandin, 61, of 88 Middle Route, died at the Lakes
Region General Hospital in Laconia on Friday, May 3, 2002.

Mr. Normandin was born February 14, 1941 in Marlboro, MA, the son of Ulric and Beatrice (Provencher) Normandin. He lived in Stowe, MA for several years and moved to New Hampshire in 1963. He lived in Laconia before moving to Gilmanton 6 1/2 years ago. He was a machinist and owned Normandin
Machine Shop.

Mr. Normandin served in the U. S. Marines from 1958-1962. He was a life-time member of the American Legion and was a H.O.G. member.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret (MacLeod) Normandin of Laconia; a son, David Normandin of Laconia; a daughter, Kim Brent of Gilford; two brothers, Roger A. Normandin of New Hampton, NH and Louis R. Normandin of Marlboro, MA; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Inez A. Normandin who died in 1990.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 6, 2002 from 2-4 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

There will be no funeral service.

A private burial will be in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gilmanton Fire-Rescue, PO Box 128 Gilmanton Iron Works, NH 03837.
