Armand L. Hebert

Laconia——-Armand L. Hebert, 75, of 1480 Old North Main Street, died on Thursday, May 2, 2002 at the St. Francis Home.

Mr. Hebert was born November 21, 1926 in Franklin, NH, the son of Albert J. & Georgianna (Bourque) Hebert. He was a long time resident of Franklin before moving to Laconia in 1964.

Mr. Hebert was a member of the Franklin High School Class of 1945. He left school to serve in the U. S. Navy during WWII, serving on the Destroyer US William H. Wood from 1944-1946. After the service, he graduated from the Tilton School. He worked for the family business, Hebert Foundry Machine for 51 years and then established A & B Castings in 1992.

Mr. Hebert was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Laconia Lodge of Elks #876, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Laconia Post 1670, and numerous foundry associations.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly J. (Bennett) Hebert of Laconia; one son, Gregory L. Hebert of Laconia; six daughters and sons-in-law, Valerie and Dennis Allen of Northfield, Stephanie and Robert Ewens of Gilford, Andrea and Dennis McDevitt of Concord, Mary and Daniel Nyhan and Renee and Jeffrey Fortier all of Laconia, and Nicole and Patrick Adamson of Bedford; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Cecile Tessier of Calabasas, CA and a brother, Gerard Hebert of Franklin; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Andrew Hebert and two sisters, Doris Tessier and Jeanne Noel.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2002 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 6, 2002 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church, will officiate. A private burial will be in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
