Norma E. Fraser

Laconia——-Mrs. Norma E. Fraser, 81, of 175 Blueberry Lane and formerly of 334 Massachusetts Avenue, Symphony West Boston, MA died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Saturday, May 11, 2002. She was the widow of William G. Fraser.

Mrs. Fraser was born September 13, 1920 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Byron A. and Elizabeth (Tyler) Rowell. She lived in Boston, MA, for many years before moving to Laconia three years ago. Mrs. Fraser was a member of the South End Neighborhood Church in Boston and taught Bible classes in Boston,
Roslindale and Symphony Plaza.

Survivors include sons, Geoffrey and his wife, Carol Fraser of Laconia, and Dwight Fraser and his significant other, Diane Carlson, both of Jamaica Plain, MA; a daughter, Gail McDade of Portland, Oregon; and four grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Bryan Fraser and a daughter-in-law, Mima Weissmann.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2002 at 11;00 AM at the Pine Hill Cemetery, 35 South Pine Street, Dover, NH. Rev. Neal Armandt of the South End Neighborhood Church, Boston, MA will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Genesis Eldercare Network, Laconia Center, 175 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, NH 03246 or to the South End Neighborhood Church, 2 San Juan Street, PO Box 180245, Boston, MA 02118.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
