Laconia——-Mrs. Sally M. Buker, 74, of 307 Elm Street, Lakeport, died on Sunday, May 5, 2002 at the Lakes Region General Hospital.
Mrs. Buker was born February 26, 1928 in Littleton, NH, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Elliot) Mason. In 1953, she moved to Laconia from Littleton, NH where she lived until she moved to Massachusetts in 1964. She moved to Gilford, NH. in 1989 and back to Laconia in 1994.
Survivors include her husband, Russell G. Buker of Laconia; two sons and their wives, Mason R. and Catharine Buker of Delanco, N.J. and Michael T. and Denise Buker of Laconia, NH; 5 grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie Berry, of Goffstown, NH and three nephews and 2 nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Elliot Mason.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2002 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 9, 2002 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot at Bayside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
