Laconia-----Marie D. Marceau, 60, of 25 Dyer Street, died at her home on Thursday, March 15, 2007.

Mrs. Marceau was born November 8, 1946 in Laconia, N.H., the daughter of Clinton O. and Dorothy (Decelles) Stevens.

Mrs. Marceau was a life long resident of Laconia.  She graduated from Sacred Heart High School. She was a member of the last graduating class. Mrs. Marceau was employed at Molex for 24 years, retiring May, 2006.

Mrs. Marceau was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She was a member of the American Legion Wilkins Smith Post No 1 Auxiliary, and volunteered at the Laconia Lodge of Elks.  She was also involved with fundraising for the Cancer Society. 

Mrs. Marceau was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Roger Marceau, of Laconia; two sons, Jeffrey Marceau of Laconia and Chad Marceau and his fiancée, Rebecca Drouin, of Concord; a grandson, Benjamin Marceau, of Concord; her mother Dorothy C. Stevens, of Laconia; two sisters, Rosemary Drake and her husband, Larry, and Madeleine DeCoster all of Laconia; two brothers, Richard Stevens, and his wife, Christa, of San Jose, Calif. and Paul Stevens and his wife, Jean, of Hooksett, NH and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Clinton O. Stevens.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007 from 5:00PM -8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia, N.H. on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 10:00AM, by  Rev. Adrien Longchamps pastor of the church.

Burial will follow in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N.H. 03246.
