Laconia-----Mrs. Marjorie A. Taylor, 92, of 2 Greystone Place, Taylor Community, died at her home on Wednesday, March 19, 2003. She was the widow of Maurice L. Taylor who died in 1980.

Mrs. Taylor was born September 4, 1910 the daughter of William O. and Florence E. (Chase) Pearson

She and her husband were the proprietors of Headland Farms on Parade Road now South Down Shores.

Mrs. Taylor attended the South Baptist Church of Laconia and also the Hill Center Church, Hill, NH. She was an active member of the Laconia, Gilford and Meredith Granges. She was a life member of the Pomona Grange and also a member of the State and National Granges. A past member of the Esther Rebekah Lodge, Opechee Park Club, Belknap County Sportsmen&Mac226;s Association and the local sewing club.

She was a member of the Silver Saints at the Sturtevant Chapel in Keene, NH.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Elois M. Hurd of Swanzey, NH, Norma L. Hodsdon of West Bethel, Maine and Connie Walters of Laconia; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandsons: 2 sisters, Earline G. Sanborn and Christine E. DeLucca, both of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces.

A calling hour will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246 from 1-2PM on Saturday, March 22, 2003, using the Carriage House entrance.

A funeral service will be held following the calling hour at 2PM on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at the funeral home.

Burial will be held later in the spring in the family lot in Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
