Elsie F. Howe

Laconia-----Mrs. Elsie F. Howe, 81, formerly of 25 Union Avenue, died at the Genesis Eldercare Network-Laconia Center on Friday, March 21, 2003.

She was the widow of Forrest K. Howe, Sr. who died in 1983.

Mrs. Howe was born March 5, 1922 in Concord, NH the daughter of Arthur R. and Stella (Woods) Noyes. She lived in the Lakes Region most of her life and was employed at the Laconia Shoe Company.

Mrs. Howe enjoyed sewing and cooking and was loved by all.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald A. Howe of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Gary D. Howe of Port Richey, Florida; two daughters, Cheryl A. Nason, of Belmont, and Gayle F. Santti of Laconia, NH; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother, Ralph Noyes, of Laconia; a sister, Dorothy „Dolly‰ Dickie, of Laconia and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Howe was predeceased by a son, Forrest K. Howe, Jr. in 1992, by two sisters, Esther Marcoux and Audrey Richardson and by a brother, Donald Noyes.

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the Carriage House entrance.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Genesis Eldercare Network Laconia Center, Resident Council Fund, 175 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, NH 03246.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
