Laconia----Eleanor Mae Walker, 79, of 14 Lyford Street, died at the St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center on Tuesday, June 17, 2008.

Miss Walker was born June 22, 1928 in Laconia, the daughter of Bertram G. and Marjorie M. (Dame) Walker.  She was a life long resident of Laconia.

Miss Walker is survived by two brothers, Howard Walker and Earle Walker, both of Laconia and many nephews and nieces.  In addition to her parents, Miss Walker was predeceased by two brothers, Victor Walker, Sr. in 1985 and Gordon D. Walker in 2006 and by her three sisters, Carol Montambeault in 2004, Evelyn Swain in 2004 and Dorothy Bragg in 1991.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11:00AM also at the Funeral Home. Rev. Hays Junkin, Rector-in-charge at Saint James Episcopal Church, will officiate.

 Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, N. H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saint James Episcopal Church Heritage Fund, 876 North Main Street, Laconia, N.H. 03246
