Laconia, NH-----Charlotte Mary Sylvia, 58, of 239 Pleasant Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, on Thursday, June 12, 2008.

Mrs. Sylvia was born August 5, 1949 in Boston Mass. the daughter of Joseph and Marion (Downey) Kelcourse.

Mrs. Sylvia resided in Everett, Mass. for many years before moving to Laconia. She was a member of Bible Speaks in Laconia. She worked for the retirement system for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Treasury for 19-1/2 years.

Mrs. Sylvia was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed and loved by all her knew her.

Survivors include five sons, Phil Sylvia and his fiancée Bonnie, Donald Sylvia and his wife Elizabeth, Stephen Perkins, Roger Perkins and Matthew Perkins; five daughters, Melissa Sylvia, Melissa Perkins, Stephanie Perkins, Angela Perkins and Davina Maclean; fourteen grandchildren, Jerikah, Jenna, Kristofer, Kalyssa, Jaekwon, Serenity, Collina, Isiyah, Mercedes, Nevaeh, Alicia, Fred, Krystal and Auryannah; two great grandchildren, Alfred and Kiara ; many nieces and nephews, and a sister, Ruthann Burns. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her stepfather, Rocco Minnichello; a granddaughter, Tina Marie Sylvia; a brother, Joseph Kelcourse; three aunts, Harriet McDonald, Yolie Minnichello and Lucille Minnichiello; an uncle, Kenneth McDonald, a niece, Ellie Kelcourse.

A Calling hour will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 5:00 – 6:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance. 

Funeral Services will follow the calling hour at 6:00PM also at the Funeral Home. Pastor Robert N. Horne, pastor of Bible Speaks in Laconia will officiate.
