Gilford-----Jeannette G. St. Germain, 83, of 312 Intervale Road, died at her home on Saturday, June 28, 2008.  Mrs. St. Germain was the widow of Donald L. St. Germain who died in 2003.

         Mrs. St. Germain was born October 31, 1924 in Laconia, N.H. the daughter of Archie J. and Julia (Toutaint) Gagne.

         Mrs. St. Germain was a lifelong resident of Laconia and was employed at Laconia Savings Bank for more than twenty years.

         Survivors include three sons, Peter Champagne of Newtown, Conn.,  Richard Champagne of Gilford and Gregory Champagne of Tamworth; four daughters, Denise Bivalacqua of  Corona, California, Vivian Sargent of Belmont, Paula Champagne of Gilford and Nancy Lavoie of Concord, Mass.; two stepsons, Donald St. Germain of Tennessee and Michael St. Germain of Amherst; fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald Gagne and Norman Gagne both of Florida; three sisters, Alice Ferland of Rochester, Pauline Decato of Newport and Shirley Cloutier of Belmont and many nephews and nieces.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. St. Germain was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Donna Lewis; by two brothers, Roland Gagne and Raymond Gagne; by two sisters, Julia LaForture and Theresa Williams and by one grandson, Scott Lavoie.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

         A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main St., Belmont on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 10:00AM.

         Burial will follow in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH.

         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Catholic School, 50 Church Street, Laconia, N.H.

         Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. is in charge of the arrangements.
