Peter J. Marando

Laconia-----Peter J. Marando, 53, of 17 Boynton Court, died at his home of Saturday, June 30, 2007.

Peter was born January 10, 1954 in Framingham, Massachusetts, the son of the late Anthony J. and Carol (Shelnut) Marando. Peter was employed at John H. Lyman Construction.  From 1985-1989, he was the assistant chief of the Houston, Delaware Volunteer Fire Department. 

Peter was a very strong and active 81 supporter.  He enjoyed softball, darts and riding his Harley.  He was a tattoo artist and body piercer and at one time owned a shop in Massachusetts. 

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Lynn (Bryson) Marando, of Laconia, N.H.; two sons, Bo Brandon Sargent and his girlfriend, Tracey, of Bristol, N. H. and Derrick Michael Haskell of Laconia, N.H.; a daughter, Jessica Marie Smith and her husband, Gilbert, of Bristol, N.H.; four grandchildren, Hayleigh, Trent, Nevaeha, and Landon; two brothers, Tony Marando III of Gilmanton, N.H. and Stephen Marando of Meredith, N.H.; two sisters, Alice Nichols and her husband, Nick, of Meredith, N.H. and Tina Colangeli and her husband, Bill, of Belmont, N.H. and many nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and close friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 2:00PM also at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas  75231
