Darlene A. Dolloff

Gilford------Darlene A. Dolloff, 59, of 150 Saltmarsh Pond Road, died at her home with her family around her, on Friday, June 8, 2007 after an eight year, courageous battle with cancer.  She was the widow of Albert “Beege” Dolloff who died in 2006.

Mrs. Dolloff was born September 14, 1947 in Laconia, New Hampshire, the daughter of Maurice S. and Beatrice M. (Martel) Ladd.

Mrs. Dolloff was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region.  She graduated from Laconia High School in 1965 and attended Becker Jr. College in Worcester, Massachusetts.  She was employed at the Laconia District Court for thirty-three years and was Deputy Clerk of Court. 

 Mrs. Dolloff was a member of the Gilford Community Church.

Mrs. Dolloff enjoyed life and spending time with the family.  She was a very loving, caring and giving mother and “mimi”.  She enjoyed traveling, going to Foxwoods and riding on the back of the Harley with “Beege”.

Survivors include a daughter, Nicole M. Parker, and her husband, Eric, of Gilford, New Hampshire; two sons, Kevin C. Dolloff and his wife, Kimber, of Laconia, New Hampshire and Bretton D. Spaulding and his wife, Linda, of Jacksonville, Florida; nine grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Hough, of Laconia, New Hampshire and two brothers, Roger Ladd of Gilford, New Hampshire and David Ladd of Vermont and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents; by a brother, Wayne S. Ladd, in 1991 and by a sister, Gloria Decker, in 1997.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 10:00AM at the Gilford Community Church, Potter Hill Road, Gilford, New Hampshire.  Rev. Michael Graham, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, New Hampshire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, New Hampshire 03247 or to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte 101 Suite 501, Bedford, New Hampshire 03101.
