Everett B. Allen

Laconia-----Everett B. Allen, 85, of 209 Academy Street, died at the Genesis Eldercare, Laconia Center on Wednesday, June 27, 2007. 

Mr. Allen was born October 15, 1921 in Laconia, NH, the son of the late Horace and Pearl (Bickford) Allen.

Mr. Allen was a lifetime resident of Laconia.  He graduated from Laconia High School in 1939 and served in the U. S. Navy during WWII.  He was employed at Scott & Williams for twenty-seven years, Cormier Hosiery for twelve years, N. H. Ballbearing, Inc. for two years and Allen Rogers for five years.  He retired in 1986.

Mr. Allen was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Laconia.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Mary Marcella (Belford) Allen, of Laconia; four sons, Everett P. Allen, of Gilford, N.H., William C. Allen, of Concord, N. H., Jeffrey Allen of Charlotte, South Carolina and Andrew D. Allen, of Jefferson, Maine; two daughters, Jane M. Piecuch, of Buxton, Maine and Margaret J. Sponseller of New Philadelphia, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N. H. on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 10:00AM by Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
