Laconia------Ronald E. Dockham, 70, formerly of 19 Jameson Street, Laconia died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia Sunday June 25, 2006.

Mr. Dockham was born August 11, 1935 in Laconia the son of Edward P. and Bernadette (Giguere) Dockham. He had been a resident of the Lakes Region for the past 58 years coming from Connecticut.

Mr. Dockham was employed by the City of Laconia Maintenance Dept. for 22 years retiring in November 1994. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia.

Mr. Dockham enjoyed woodworking, playing the drums and camping with his family on Sawyer Lake in Gilmanton.

Survivors include his wife Shirley M. (Chase) Dockham of Gilford; 2 daughters Carmen Marie Deyarmond of Gilford and Sharon Lee Dockham of Newburyport , MA.; two grandsons, Jakob Deyarmond and  Thomas Deyarmond both of Gilford; a sister and brother-in-law  Jean and Robert Boudreau of Connecticut, two sisters-in-laws Vi Adrignola of Laconia, Roberta Chase of Salem; 4 nieces, Carrie Chandler of Laconia, Jennifer Pollini of Derry, Lisa Boudreau of Connecticut and Debbie Vargo of Massachusetts and a nephew David Boudreau of Connecticut.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday June 28, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, NH & VT Chapter, 10 Ferry Street Suite 427B, Concord NH -3301.

The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 164 Pleasant Street Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.
