Sanbornton-----Bruce G. Bean, 51, of Black Brook Road, Sanbornton, died on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at his son’s home in Laconia after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mr. Bean was born September 8, 1954 in Laconia, NH, the son of Sidney and Charlotte (Hatch) Bean. He lived in the Sanbornton area for most of his life and attended Tilton-Northfield High School.

Mr. Bean owned his own excavation business in Sanbornton for sixteen years before retiring in April, 2006. He loved spending time with his granddaughters.

Survivors include two sons, Tobey Bean and his companion, Robyn Vachon, and her daughter, Hannah, and Corey Bean and his wife, Kimberly, all of Laconia; two grandchildren, Kylie Bean and Cassandra Kimball; his parents, Sidney and Charlotte (Hatch) Bean, of Belmont; two brothers, Randy Bean, of New Hampton and Douglas Bean and his wife, Susan, both of Sanbornton; one sister, Melody Crockett, and her husband, Steven, both of Belmont; many nephews and nieces and his best friends, John and Diane Cataldo, of Sanbornton and Tim and Debbie Bossey, of Laconia.

Calling hours will be held Monday, June 26, 2006 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home, on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 2:00PM. Rev. Dr. Robert Robertson, Pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Sanbornton, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Sanbornton, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
