Delma I. Moulton

Laconia-----Mrs. Delma I. Moulton, 87, formerly of 316 Messer Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Saturday, June 7, 2003. She had been a resident at the St. Francis Home for a number of years.

She was the widow of Harold A. Moulton who died in 1973.

Mrs. Moulton was born June 19, 1915 in Franklin, the daughter of Leon M. and Minnie (Stewart) Ludlow. She had been a resident of Laconia since 1925 coming from Northfield. She graduated from Laconia High School in 1934.

Mrs. Moulton was employed at Cormier Hosiery as a finisher for many years retiring in 1980. She was a 70 year member of the Weirs United Methodist Church of Weirs Beach, a member of the United Methodist Women and a member of the Endicott Rock Temple #25 Pythian Sisters.

Survivors include 2 sisters her twin Doris E. Barnard and Gladys Burbank both of Laconia; 2 nieces Donna Pinckney and Brenda Moulton both of Laconia; several grand-nephews and grand-nieces. She was predeceased by a son William H. Moulton in 1987 and a sister Eunice R. Hurd in 1997.

Calling hours will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, Tuesday, from 6-8 PM using the Carriage House entrance. Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Marilyn Ayer, pastor of the Weirs United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Bayside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis Home, Activities Fund 406 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
