Alfonso Tuttle

Gilford-----Alfonso Tuttle, 84 of 23 Saltmarsh Pond Road, Gilford, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, Thursday, July 17, 2008.

Mr. Tuttle was born February 4, 1924 in Exeter the son of Alvin and Sara Smith (Rand) Tuttle.  He served in the US Navy during WWII.

Mr. Tuttle had been employed at Allied Leather for over 25 years. He enjoyed camping.

Survivors include his wife Leah (Carrier) Tuttle of Gilford; a daughter Sheila Jenot of Belmont; 3 grandchildren Starr Blaisdell, Shawn S. Tuttle and Mark J. Tuttle; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

According to his wishes there are no calling hours or funeral services.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the NH Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247-0572.
