Edna L. Granger

Lochmere---Mrs. Edna L. Granger, 79, of 45 White Rock Circle, Lochmere, NH, died at her daughter's home in Tilton Thursday, July 31, 2003. She was the widow of Bert L. Granger who died in 1986.

Mrs. Granger was born January 11, 1924 in Petersburg, N.Y. the daughter of Leon and Flora (Church) Moon.

Mrs. Granger was the office manager of the Gunstock Ski Area, Gilford, of 23 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Laconia and a member of the Mayflower Society in VT.

Mrs. Granger loved to read and enjoyed wildlife and her flowers, as well as bird watching. She loved her cat "Dolly".

Survivors include her daughter Candace Cassavaugh of Tilton; her son-in-law Wayne Cassavaugh, Sr. of Sanbornton; 4 grandchildren Lisa Bertrand of New Hampton, Wayne Cassavaugh, Jr. Toni-Jo Cassavaugh and Alison Cassavaugh all of Tilton; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Keith Moon.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2003 from 2-4 PM using the Whipple Ave. entrance of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Belmont, Monday, August 4, 2003 at 3:00 PM. The Rev. Charles Crook, Pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Laconia.

Memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
