Henry P. Lambert

Belmont-----Henry P. Lambert, 94, of 50 Randlett Street Apt. 2, Belmont, NH and formerly of 25 Union Avenue, Laconia died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Tuesday, January 1, 2008.

Mr. Lambert was born November 10, 1913 in Laconia, N. H., the son of Thomas and Rose (Racine) Lambert.

Mr. Lambert served in the U. S. Navy during WWII.  He  was a life long resident of Laconia and was employed at Vernitron Plastic Manufacturing Corp. for twelve years before retiring in 1977.

Mr. Lambert was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.  He was a life member of the Laconia Lodge of Elks #876 and was a member of the American Legion Wilkins-Smith Post #l.

Mr. Lambert was an avid baseball fan and loved the Boston Red Sox.  He was a member of the first American Legion Baseball Team in 1928.

 Survivors include his wife, Jeanne (Drouin) Dionne-Lambert, of Laconia; a son, Deacon Richard Lambert and her wife, Sandi, of Stallion Springs, California;  a daughter, Barbara Breton, and her husband, Roger, of Laconia, N. H.;  six step-sons; four stepdaughters; six grandchildren; fourteen step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; two great, great grandchildren and a brother, Raymond Lambert, of St. Albans, Vermont.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Lambert was predeceased by his first wife, Blanche E. (Vachon) Lambert, in 1994; by a brother, Arthur Lambert, and by a sister, Germaine Valliere.

Calling hours will be Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 5:00-7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 4, 2008 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, N. H.

Spring burial will be in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, N. H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Outside Patio Fund”, Saint Francis Healthcare Center, 406 Court Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
