Albert G. "Beege" Dolloff

Gilford----Albert G. “Beege” Dolloff, 58 of 150 Saltmarsh Pond Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia Friday January 20, 2006 after a sudden illness.

Beege was born April 1, 1947 in Laconia the son of Carl F. and Ethel (Croteau) Dolloff, Jr. He was a life long resident of Gilford and graduated from Laconia High School in 1965. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and also served in the US Army Reserves for 21 years retiring in 1986.

Beege was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Lodge # 32 F. & A.M., the Winnipesaukee Shrine Club, The Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Concord and a member of the Bektash Cycle Patrol. He was also a member of the American Legion Wilkins-Smith Post # 1 of Laconia and the Humjammers Bike group. He was a former member of the Laconia Kiwanis Club.

Beege loved riding his Harley and enjoyed skiing. He loved to travel and would always take the scenic road. He was a very kind, honest, hard working man and loved his family dearly and he was dearly loved. He will always be remembered for his wonderful laugh.

Beege was the owner of A.G. Dolloff Excavators for many years.

Survivors include his wife Darlene (Ladd) Dolloff of Laconia; a daughter Nicole M. Parker of Gilford; two sons Bretton D. Spaulding of Jacksonville, FL. and Kevin C. Dolloff of Laconia; 9 grandchildren; a sister Armena Macartney of Morehead City, N.C. a nephew and 2 nieces. His dog Brandy “The Kid”.

Calling hours will be held on Monday January 23, 2006 from 5-8 PM in the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia using the Carriage House entrance. Mt. Lebanon Lodge will conducted a service during calling hours at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Gilford Community Church 19 Potter Hill Road, Gilford. The Rev. Michael C. Graham, pastor of the church will officiate.

Spring burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made the Laconia Salvation Army 177 Union Ave. PO Box 326 Laconia, NH 03247-0326 or the New Hampshire Humane Society PO Box 572 Laconia, NH 03247-0572.
