Gilford-----Wanda G. Burbank, 61, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home, Laconia on Wednesday, January 11, 2006.

Mrs. Burbank was born March 19, 1944 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Phyllis Huggins. She was a life long resident of the Lakes Region and over the years was employed at Dearborn’s Diner, Paugus Diner, Lakes Region General Hospital and the Belknap County Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts and playing cards and bingo.

Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, David H. Burbank, of Gilford; a son, Craig Burbank, of Gilford; two daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie and Bruce O’Hara of Laconia and Carolee and Reg DeRoche, Jr. of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Shanan O’Hara and Brandon O’Hara, all of Laconia and Steven DeRoche of Alexandria; her mother and stepfather, Phyllis and John Belfontaine, of Laconia; two brothers, John Belfontaine, Jr. of Connecticut and Dan Belfontaine of Nevada; two sisters, Yvonne Belfontaine of MI and Julia Belfontaine of Gilford and many nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 13, 2006 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 8:00PM also at the Funeral Home.

Spring burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246 or The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Vermont-NH Affiliate, PO Box 2496, Manchester Center, Vermont 05255.
