Gilford, NH-----Mrs. Susanna Laurier, 71, of 32 Allen Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Monday, January 5, 2004.
Mrs. Laurier was born June 25, 1932 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Doris J. (Milliken) and Andrew W. Nelson II. She lived in Stoddard, NH for several years before moving to Gilford 16 years ago.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Carl A. Laurier of Gilford; a son, James A. Laurier, of Keene, NH; two stepdaughters, Patricia A. Ryll of W. Springfield, MA and Nancy L. O'Callaghan and her husband, Jack, of Meredith, NH; two brothers, Bruce Nelson of Lakeport, NH and Stephen E. Nelson of White River Jct., Vermont; three sisters, Dorothy Duffy, Judith Nelson and Sarah Barber all of Laconia, NH; three step grandchildren, Christine Sniado of New Canaan, CT, Wendy Shosa of Buford, GA and Jeffrey Ryll of W. Springfield, Massachusetts; six nephews, Shaun Duffy, Timothy Duffy, Eric Nelson, Adam Scott Nelson, David Nelson and Gary Nelson; and six nieces, Linda Nelson, Kathy Nelson, Kelly McAdam, Jarna Fugere, Gail Duffy and Jennifer Nelson.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2004 in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. George Hankins-Hull, Spiritual Care Coordinator at Lakes Region General Hospital, will officiate.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
