Laconia-----Olin A. Ford, 90, of 31 Old Prescott Hill Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Thursday, January 29, 2004. He was the widower of Doris P. Ford who died in December, 2003.

Mr. Ford was born December 23, 1913 in Laconia, NH the son of Archie and Lila (True) Ford.

Mr. Ford was a lifelong resident of Laconia. He was a dairy farmer with a local milk route for many years. During World War II, he was employed at Scott & Williams. He was a custodian at Laconia High School and later at the Memorial Middle School for twenty years, retiring in 1986.

Mr. Ford was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Wilma M. Davis of Laconia, NH and Janice (Walter) F. Snow of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, Lila (Roger) Laraway of Laconia, Lynn A. Brazeau of Laconia, Matthew T. Snow of Richmond, VA and Steven C. Snow of Tucson, AZ; five great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Clayton A. Ford, in 2001.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 from 7:00-8:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Dr. Victoria Wood Parrish, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate.

Spring Burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110; First United Methodist Church, PO Box 7408, Gilford, NH 03247; or to the charity of one's choice.
