Belmont-------Peter Roger Sylvester, Sr., 63, of 64 Scenic Drive, died at his home on Monday evening, January 6, 2003.
Mr. Sylvester was born Jan. 19, 1939 in Franklin, NH, the son of Nelson E. and Yevonne (Noe) Sylvester. He lived in Franklin all of his life before moving to Belmont 3 1/2 years ago. He was a field supervisor for Structure Unlimited Co. where he worked for 28 years.
Mr. Sylvester was a communicant of St. Paul Catholic Church, Franklin, NH.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Theresa G. (Leroux) Sylvester of Belmont, NH; three sons, Michael W. Sylvester of Concord, NH, Peter R. Sylvester, Jr. of Franklin, NH and Thomas R. Sylvester of Manchester, NH; two daughters, Terri A. LaPlante of Franklin, NH and Susan M. Fogg of Sanbornton, NH; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren, two expected great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Sylvester of Franklin, NH and Victor (Fred) Sylvester of Gilford, NH; a sister, Elaine Wallace of Bristol, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Nelson Sylvester, Jr., Donald Sylvester and James Sylvester.
The family would like to thank Peter's cousin, Walter Paquette of Franklin, for all his help, love and support as well as Community Health & Hospice. Thank you from all our hearts.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 10, 2003 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 106 School Street, Franklin, NH. Rev. William Babineau, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 10701-9376 or to St. Paul Catholic Church, PO Box 490, Franklin, NH 03235.
