Pauline C. (Biron) St. Cyr Send a condolence note

Ashland, NH---Pauline C. (Biron) St. Cyr, 78, of Ashland, NH, passed away peacefully at Concord Hospital, Friday, February 15, 2008.

Pauline was born May 6, 1929 in Manchester, NH to Adolphe and Albertine (Michaud) Biron. She attended Manchester schools.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, George A. St. Cyr, whom she met while roller skating at Pine Island Park. George always said she fell for him.

Pauline is survived by her four children: Connie and her husband Jay High of Manchester, Ron and his wife Chris St. Cyr of Gilmanton, Larry St. Cyr of Pelham, MA, and Al and his wife Penny St. Cyr of Gilford, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers; Gerald Biron and wife Gert of Concord, her brother Andre “Pee Wee” Biron and wife Lorraine of Naples, FL, and brother-in-law Andy Fortin. She was predeceased by her sister, Noella (Biron) Fortin, and brother Lucien Biron.

In Her Life...

Pauline and George lived in the Manchester area until 1971 when they moved to the Lakes Region. They were avid campers enjoying many summers at Lake George, NY. For the last 19 years, they spent the winter in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Pauline's proudest accomplishment in life was being a mother. In addition to her own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Pauline cared for fifty foster children through the Children's Aid Society (now Child and Family Services of New Hampshire).

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 18, 2008 from 4-8pm at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia using the Carriage House entrance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington Street, Laconia on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 11:00AM.

Spring burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Child and Family Services of New Hampshire, 464 Chestnut St., P.O. Box 448, Manchester, NH 03105.
