Priscilla M. Avery Smith Send a condolence note

Laconia-----Priscilla M. Avery Smith, 78, of 11 Messer Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Wednesday, February 27, 2008.

 Mrs. Smith was born October 22, 1929 in Augusta, Maine, the daughter of Harold and Louise (Chase) Murray. 

Mrs. Smith lived in Maine for several years before moving to Laconia in 1959 where she was employed at TECO for many years.  She later lived a number of years in Florida before moving back to Laconia in 2004.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert R. Smith, of Laconia; one son, Lee Colson, of Tilton; two daughters, Pauline M. Green of Laconia and Gladys Mooney of Franklin; eight grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Hoyt of Weare NH.  Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her lst husband, Richard L. Avery, in 1980.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Sunday March 9 from 2-4 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

According to Mrs. Smith’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.

Spring burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
