Winona G. Parker

Meredith, NH----Mrs. Winona G. Parker, 95, of 10 Lower Ladd Hill Road, died at her home on Monday, February 24, 2003. She was the widow of Charles L. Parker who died in 1992.

Mrs. Parker was born November 22, 1907 in Hill, NH, the daughter of Oscar F. and Louise J. (Cloutman) Ackerman. She was a long time resident of Meredith, NH and wintered in Zephyrhills, Florida.

Mrs. Parker was a registered nurse and operating room supervisor at the Claremont Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Ellacoya Chapter of the Eastern Star and an honorary member of the Elliot Hospital Alumni Association.

Survivors include a son, Allen S. Parker and his wife, Carol, of Nashua, NH; one grandson, Joshua Parker and his wife, Jennifer of Bedford, NH: one granddaughter, Melissa Parker-Christou and her husband, Christopher Christou, of Wilton, NH and one great granddaughter, Mackenzie Parker Christou of Wilton, NH; several nephews and nieces; and three cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Gerald O. Ackerman in 1992.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at the family lot at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hill, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
