Judith Ross Bagley

ALTON-Judith Ross Bagley of 349 Hall’s Hill Rd., passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

Judy grew up in Littleton and graduated from Plymouth State College. She and her family lived in Gilford for 24 years, moving to Alton in 1989. She has been a real estate broker for 20 years, owning her own business, Lake Shore Realty. She served as Supervisor of the Checklist in Gilford and sang in the NH Music Festival Chorus. She and her husband have operated Winnipesaukee Aquatherm Service for 20 years.

Judy was a devoted wife, a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, singing, playing the piano and reading. One of her favorite activities was driving her gator ATV around their property, especially with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her annual Elderhostel trips.

She was a dedicated member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Laconia where she served different times as Sunday School Teacher, Reader, Clerk, Soloist and Board Member. Her church duties and church family brought her much happiness.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Earl J. Bagley, of Alton; two daughters, Kelly B. Marshall and her husband, Paul, of Francestown, Amy B. Lovering and her husband, Eric, of Laconia; one son, Ross J. Bagley, and his wife, Janice, of Moultonborough; two brothers, John Ross of Whitefield, Ralph Ross of Littleton, three sisters, Nancy Stearns of Gilmanton, Mary Ann Foley of Gilford and Terry D. Ross of Lincoln. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb Marshall and Isabella Lovering. She is beloved by many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Isabel Ross.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First Church of Christ Scientist, 136 Pleasant St., Laconia, NH, 03246 or the Alton Community Services Program, P.O. Box 43, Alton, NH, 03809.
