Francis "Bud" X. Schultz

Belmont, N.H.-----Francis “Bud” X. Schultz, 79, died at Genesis Eldercare Network-Laconia Center on Monday, December 10, 2007.

Mr. Schultz was born August 18, 1928 in Somerville, Mass., the son of Fred and Mary (Dunn) Schultz.  He was raised and educated in Somerville, Mass. and was employed by the U. S. Postal Service for thirty-five years before retiring in 1990.  Mr. Schultz resided in Wilmington, Mass. prior to moving to New Hampshire in 1986. 

Mr. Schultz was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish, Belmont, N.H.

Mr. Schultz was a member of  the  National Association of Retired Federal Employees.  He enjoyed sports.

Survivors include his wife, Doris (Pickering) Schultz, of Belmont, N. H.; two daughters, Janice M. DeFronzo and her husband, Stephen, and Nancy E. Schultz, all of Manchester; a son, William A. Schultz, and his wife, Susan, of Wilmington, Mass.; three grandchildren, Ryan DeFronzo, Alex DeFronzo and Rebecca Schultz; a step grandson, Stephen Natoli; a step great grandson and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Schultz was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 4:00PM-7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, N. H.

Burial will be on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 2:00PM in the family lot in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph Parish Food Pantry, PO Box 285, Belmont, N. H. 03220 or to the Community Wellness Center, 22 Strafford Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
