Robert R. Page, Sr.

Laconia-----Robert R. Page, Sr.. 74, of 1166 North Main Street, died at Genesis Eldercare-Laconia Center, on Wednesday, December 5, 2007.  He was the widower of Lorraine Marie (Shagnon) Page who died in 1999.

Mr. Page was born December 20, 1932 in Gilmanton, NH, the son of Ray and Lorna (Stockbridge) Page.  He lived most of his life in Gilmanton before moving to Laconia twenty years ago.

Mr. Page was a leather worker and was employed at Allied Leather, Penacook for thirty-three years. Mr. Page was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved the craft of woodworking.

 Survivors include his two sons, Robert Page, Jr. and James Page; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Smith Page; a brother Leo Page; a sister Marline Page; ten grandchildren, Bruce Shampy, Robert Page III, Samantha Page, Erica Page, Jessica Page, Crystal Page, Laura Page, James Page, Erica Gilbert and Tony Page; three great grandchildren; two nieces and four nephews.

There will be no calling hours

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 3:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the Whipple Avenue entrance.

Burial will be held in the family lot in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Loudon, NH in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Beginnings Women’s Crisis Center, PO Box 622, Laconia, NH 03247.
