Elson H. Moody

Belmont-----Elson H. Moody, 78, of 10 Village Apartment Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Wednesday, December 12, 2007.

Mr. Moody was born May 16, 1929 in Belmont, N. H., the son of Clarence N. and Nannie (Pease) Moody.

Mr. Moody lived in Belmont for most of his life.  He was a self-employed auto mechanic for many years and later was also employed as the head custodian at Belmont High School.

Mr. Moody enjoyed fishing and sailing with his brother.

Survivors include a son, Audie Moody; a daughter, Lisa Moody; two brothers, Floyd N. Moody of Gilford and Neil V. Moody of Concord; a sister, Avis Boatner, of Andover and many nephews and nieces.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Wendell C. Moody, and by a sister, Shirley Ladd.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held at the family lot in South Road Cemetery, Belmont, N. H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.

 Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H. is in charge of the arrangements.
