Robert E. Legge

Laconia-----Robert E. Legge, 71, of 121 Church Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Thursday, December 6, 2007.

Mr. Legge was born October 7, 1936 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Kelty and Hazel (Wright) Legge. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He lived in Colorado and then Pompano Beach, Florida for several years before moving to Laconia in 1998.  While living in Colorado, he was employed as an auto repairman and also worked part-time as a security and police officer.

Mr. Legge is survived by a sister, Dorothy Delamater, of Plano, Texas; one nephew; one niece; two great nephews and one great niece.  Mr. Legge was predeceased by a brother, Roy T. Legge.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held at the N. H. State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
