Robert H. Harriman

Manchester-----Robert H. Harriman, 87, of 813 Beech Street, died at the Masonic Home on Tuesday, December 16, 2003.

Mr. Harriman was born July 22, 1916 in Littleton, NH, the son of Elroy W. & Margaret (Adams) Harriman. He attended the Dow Academy in Franconia, NH.

Mr. Harriman lived in the Georges Mills/Sunapee area for many years before moving to Laconia in 1999. He was a driver for Cushman Bakery for twenty-five years and was an accountant for C & C Vending for ten years. He retired in 1980. Mr. Harriman was a Mason for over fifty years and was a member of various Lodges from Maine to California.

Mr. Harriman enjoyed helping his children and grandchildren and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Dora M. (Ledoux) Harriman of Laconia; a daughter, Judith A. Carroll of Laconia and a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory R. & Helen Harriman of Belmont; seven grandchildren, Deborah Spear of Newport, Laura Suttmeier and Shaun Carroll, Jr. both of Sunapee, Robert Carroll of New London, Rebecca Carroll of Walpole, Brock Harriman of Laconia, and Melissa Young of Belmont; eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, a great grandson; seven brothers, one sister, and six half-brothers and half-sisters.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at 10:00AM. Rev. Gary Kosmowski, Pastor of the Church, will be the celebrant.

Spring burial will be in the family lot at Elmwood Cemetery, Franconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one&Mac226;s favorite charity.
